Well, our guest, Jared is a door knocking ninja! He has sold tens of millions of dollars managing teams who simply knock on doors. It’s incredible.
It all started when Jared was in college. He went to a meeting where they were recruiting people to make $30k during the summer simply knocking on doors for a pest control company.
Day 1, only a single person got a single sale all day. He initially thought it sucked, but decided to stick it out, went all in and learned everything he could.
Jared became one of the top sales reps in the country for this company and sold 300 accounts just that summer. They offered him a job to train the next years’ reps. They were selling over $30 million of revenue for Orkin every single year.
Jared made over $40k in 3 months that first year.
Currently, he sells 1 in 7 accounts door knocking.
Knocking on doors can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be.
Door knocking is an art, a science, and a skill that you can learn. If you learn it, you can do extremely well. It’s not something that’s a one and done. You can’t just try it once then give up.
Jared’s best advice, the important thing you have to do is you have to learn it. It’s best to find someone who knows what they’re doing and do it.
