April founded BidSlot Marketing in 2002. April established her track record of being a “rainmaker” not only for BidSlot, but for her client’s companies as well, by personally generating 10K in revenue in the first hour of BidSlot Marketing’s operation! Through BidSlot’s meteoric success, and its unique bid/appointment setting concept, April received “The Best Marketing Idea of the Year” awarded by the CHDCA in 2003.
Following the economic changes over the past 8 years, April saw an opportunity to generate and increase revenue for BidSlot as well as her clients by creating and filling a niche in the Virtual Office and Answering Service space. With that in mind, April began searching for an undervalued, underperforming answering service company and became a stakeholder in AnswerWorx, an answering service company, in 2013.
April immediately implemented multiple solutions to improve the end-user experience via multiple technology upgrades, sourced and retained a service center leveraging their 30 years of experience and stellar reputation in providing answering service solutions. April increased AnswerWorx’s client base and revenue by 75% over the past 2 years.
April then acquired the Hood Cleaning School and Hood Cleaning Supplies.com in Nashville, TN.
April was approached by the owner of the Hood Cleaning School in April 2015 to purchase the school, and following a negotiation, acquired it after selecting 3 partners to participate in the joint venture.
April believes in investing in her continuing education and has taken courses through both PMI and PSI. She currently holds certificates of completion in both and is in the process of obtaining licensure as a Project Manager Practitioner (PMP)
